In the last couple of years we created UpLabs: an incredible community of designers and developers who curate the best resources to create apps and websites, daily. The good news is: it’s become big. The bad news is: it’s become bigger than us!

Today we’re growing our team and moving on to the next phase of UpLabs, something we’re incredibly excited about. We’re looking for a full stack developer to join us and work directly with Matt, our founder and full stack developer himself.

Is that you?

We’re looking for an engineer with 5+ years experience in Ruby, ruby on rails, Angular JS. Experience working with startups or small sized companies will be highly valued. You’re someone who has ideas on what makes a good product, and doesn’t mind building scrappy features to test things around :)

Experience working remotely? It’s a perfect match!

Full job description

Does that look good?

With a community and hundreds of thousands, we’re just about to build a new product for designers and developers from the ground up.

You’ll be working directly with Matt, founder of UpLabs (was MaterialUp), and creator of Material Palette and Wow.js.

What we’re offering:

  • A leading role in product building and strategy
  • Flexibility of your own workplace and schedule (we work remotely)
  • Autonomy

What we’re looking for:

  • Products, libraries, projects you built in the past
  • Ideas on how to improve UpLabs (technical & product strategy)
  • “Talk to users” approach
  • Experience being on call
  • Willingness to work remotely, using Slack, Trello, etc. to collaborate.

Full job description

Apply, recommend, spread the word (all of be above?), twitter and all! We’ll be eternally grateful 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨

How to apply

Please email a resume, relevant website samples, github username, and three professional references to jobs@uplabs.com with “Full Stack Developer” in the subject line.
