Where art thou?
In the last couple of years we created UpLabs: an incredible community of designers and developers who curate the best resources to create apps and websites, daily. The good news is: it’s become big. The bad news is: it’s become bigger than us!
Today we’re growing our team and moving on to the next phase of UpLabs, something we’re incredibly excited about. We’re looking for a full stack developer to join us and work directly with Matt, our founder and full stack developer himself.
Is that you?
We’re looking for an engineer with 5+ years experience in Ruby, ruby on rails, Angular JS. Experience working with startups or small sized companies will be highly valued. You’re someone who has ideas on what makes a good product, and doesn’t mind building scrappy features to test things around :)
Experience working remotely? It’s a perfect match!
Does that look good?
With a community and hundreds of thousands, we’re just about to build a new product for designers and developers from the ground up.
You’ll be working directly with Matt, founder of UpLabs (was MaterialUp), and creator of Material Palette and Wow.js.

- Products, libraries, projects you built in the past
- Ideas on how to improve UpLabs (technical & product strategy)
- “Talk to users” approach
- Experience being on call
- Willingness to work remotely, using Slack, Trello, etc. to collaborate.
